Overseeing and managing all DTS activities in Japan, Nao Ohtake joined the company as Director of Operations at DTS's office in Tokyo in 2003. With more than 30 years of experience in the consumer electronics industry, Ohtake began his career as the manager of Dolby Laboratories in Asia. During his 27 years at Dolby, he was responsible for building and managing key relationships with licensees in the consumer electronics, recording and video game industries throughout the region. Prior to joining DTS, Mr. Ohtake was President of Nuon Asia, the Japanese subsidiary of VM Labs. He is active contributor to many industry associations, including AES, EIAJ and the DVD Forum, and holds a B.S. in Telecommunications and Film from San Diego State University and a B.A. in Economics from Seijo University in Tokyo.
