Because of today’s various recording standards and formats, many consumers listen to CE products at different volume levels throughout their day and need to constantly adjust the listening volume. However, when turning down the volume on a variety of devices such as TVs, sound bars, car audio systems, mobile phones, PCs, etc. ― the listener often loses the ability to adequately hear the low and high frequencies. To remedy this, listeners typically increase the bass and treble on their devices, realizing later when they turn the volume back up that the low and high frequencies are out of balance.

DTS Enhance™ ensures the consistency and quality of the listening experience by maintaining the perceived spectral balance at an ideal monitoring level. When the volume is adjusted, it intelligently maintains that balance through dynamic loudness equalization. In addition, DTS Enhance applies spectral bandwidth enhancement to help restore high frequency content from band-limited audio material, such as low bit rate streaming audio, MP3 recordings, and Internet TV.
